CM Omar to Present Economic Survey, Anand Marriage Rules in J&K Assembly Tomorrow

Jammu, Feb 4 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will table the Economic Survey Report for 2025-26 and the Anand Marriage Registration Rules, 2023 in the Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly on Thursday.

According to the list of business issued by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, During the proceedings, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will lay on the Table of the House, The Economic Survey Report for 2025-26.

CM to also table, “The Jammu and Kashmir Anand Marriage Registration Rules, 2023”, framed under Section 6(4) of the Anand Marriage Act, 1909 (Central Act 7 of 1909).

The Assembly will also continue the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor’s Address delivered on February 2, 2026, and the government’s reply thereto.

The session is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM at the Assembly Secretariat in Jammu, while questions listed separately will be asked and answered during the session. (JKNS)
