Jammu, Feb 3 (JKNS): An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Joffar area of Ramnagar in Udhampur district on Tuesday afternoon.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that security forces established contact with a Jaish group during a cordon and search operation in the Ramnagar area. Following the contact, an exchange of fire ensued, triggering an encounter.
The operation is currently underway, with additional forces deployed to the area. More details are awaited. (JKNS)
