High Court of J&K and Ladakh Celebrates 77th Republic Day

Srinagar, Jan 26 (JKNS): The 77th Republic Day was observed with solemn dignity and patriotic fervour at the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Srinagar Wing, on Monday, as the institution paid homage to the Constitution and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to justice, democratic values and the rule of law.

As per news agency JKNS, The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Hon’ble Ms. Justice Sindhu Sharma, Hon’ble Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, who took salute at the March Past followed by the playing of the National Anthem/ patriotic tunes by the Band.

The event was also graced by the august presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rahul Bharti, Hon’ble Ms. Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Shahzad Azeem, Hon’ble Judges of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh.

Among the other distinguished attendees were Shri Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar alongwith the team of judicial officers, Khursheed-ul-Islam, Registrar Judicial Srinagar Wing, Shri Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi, Joint Registrar (Judicial)/ Incharge Protocol, Presidents of Bar Associations, officers of police and civil administration, law officers and all the officers/ officials of the Srinagar Wing of the Hon’ble High Court.

The event concluded with the distribution of sweets among the police and CRPF officials. (JKNS)
