Srinagar, Jan 17 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj extended his heartfelt greetings to the people, highlighting the profound spiritual significance of the sacred night for the Muslim Ummah.

LG Sinha conveyed his greetings to the people on the occasion.

In his message as per news agency JKNS, the Lieutenant Governor expressed hope that the sacred night would inspire harmony, kindness and brotherhood in society. He prayed for good health, happiness and prosperity for all.

Shab-e-Meraj commemorates the night journey and ascension of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and holds deep spiritual significance for Muslims across the world.

Meanwhile, In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah underscored that Shab-e-Meraj reaffirms the truthfulness, greatness and unwavering devotion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to Almighty Allah.

He described the occasion as a powerful reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary character, marked by honesty, integrity and spiritual eminence.

Chief Minister offered prayers for lasting peace, prosperity and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. He also urged people to imbibe and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to build a society based on compassion, tolerance and unity. (JKNS)
