Kupwara, Jan 16 (JKNS): On the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj, the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (IAS), extended warm greetings to the people of the district.
Highlighting the spiritual significance of the blessed night, the Deputy Commissioner prayed for peace, harmony, brotherhood, and prosperity for all.
He expressed hope that the sacred occasion of Shab-e-Meraj would further strengthen the bonds of mutual love, tolerance, and unity in society, inspiring people to follow the path of righteousness and compassion.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that all necessary arrangements have been completed across Kupwara district to ensure smooth observance of Shab-e-Meraj. The district administration, in coordination with concerned departments, has taken adequate measures to facilitate devotees and maintain law and order.
He urged the public to observe the occasion peacefully and cooperate with the administration in maintaining communal harmony and public order. (JKNS)
