Police acted swiftly and arrested the accused persons, registering a case under relevant sections of law. Further investigation into the matter is underway, and authorities have assured that strict legal action will follow as per the outcome of the probe.

Officials also said that the main accused has been involved in multiple controversies in the past outside the Union Territory and was dismissed from service earlier in connection with serious misconduct cases.

However, police maintained that the present case is being investigated strictly on the basis of facts and evidence. (JKNS)
