“Truth, Ethics Pillars of Democracy”: DIG North Kashmir Emphasises Responsible Journalism

Srinagar, Dec 28 (JKNS): Stressing the critical role of media in a democratic society, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) North Kashmir Range Maqsood-ul-Zaman underscored that responsible journalism is the cornerstone of democracy, especially in an era marked by misinformation and fake news.

In a message shared on social media platform X, as per news agency JKNS, DIG Maqsood stated that journalism today demands rigorous fact-checking, ethical reporting, and an unwavering commitment to truth.
