J&K Police Dismiss Social Media Claims of Suspicious Movement in Anantnag as Baseless

Srinagar, Dec 27 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday clarified that the messages circulating on social media about suspicious individuals allegedly roaming in Anantnag town are false and without any factual basis, urging people to remain calm and avoid falling prey to rumours.

In a statement issue here to news agency JKNS Police spokesperson said, Some social media platforms are circulating news regarding reports of suspicious individuals roaming freely in Anantnag town. On verification it is found to be unsubstantiated.
