The prevailing situation has understandably created anxiety among families, as normal academic and civic life in several regions has been disrupted. Er Danish Reshi emphasized that at this stage, a calm, factual assessment combined with timely administrative response is essential to ensure the safety and dignity of the students.

In his statement, he called for a clear assessment of the ground situation, structured coordination with Indian diplomatic channels, and facilitation of evacuation wherever circumstances so require. He also highlighted the importance of transparent and regular communication with parents and guardians, so that misinformation and panic are avoided.

Er Danish Reshi underlined that students must be treated not merely as individuals caught in a crisis, but as a collective responsibility of the nation. He further suggested the establishment of a dedicated assistance mechanism, including an emergency helpline, to address concerns of families and to streamline necessary procedures.

“Protecting students during times of uncertainty is a moral, administrative, and national responsibility. A measured yet swift response will reinforce confidence and ensure that our young citizens are brought home safely, if the situation demands,” he stated. (JKNS)
