Srinagar, Dec 16 (JKNS): A fire broke out in the residential house in the Shaheed Gunj area of Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the fire erupted in a residential structure at Shaheed Gunj, following which Fire and Emergency Services were alerted. Fire tenders from HQRS Habakadal, Shaheed Gunj and MR Gunj rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations.
No casualties were reported in the incident so far, they said.
The cause of the fire is being assessed, while further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
