Kishtwar, Dec 16 (JKNS): The body of an unidentified person was recovered from the Dool Dam area in Kishtwar on Tuesday, officials said.
Official Sources told news agency JKNS that the body was spotted in the Dool Dam, following which teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Red Cross, and local police immediately reached the spot. The police chowki in-charge also supervised the operation.
After completion of necessary formalities at the site, the body was retrieved and shifted to the District Hospital Kishtwar for medico-legal procedures and identification.
Further investigation has been taken up by the police to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to the death. (JKNS)
