New Delhi, Dec 01 (JKNS): Three senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Gurvinder Singh Oberoi, and Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan took oath as Members of the Rajya Sabha in the Parliament on Monday.
As per news agency JKNS that the oath was administered by the Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, C. P. Radhakrishnan, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a notable moment, Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan took his oath in the Kashmiri language, reflecting the cultural and linguistic pride of Jammu & Kashmir.
All three leaders have now formally assumed their roles in the Upper House of Parliament. Further proceedings of the session are underway. (JKNS)
