Baramulla Police Launch Probe Into Local Association Over Suspected Unlawful Operations

Baramulla, Nov 25 (JKNS): Acting on specific intelligence inputs, Baramulla Police have opened an investigation into alleged unlawful activities reportedly linked to a local association known as Idarah Fallah-u-Darain.

Spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS said, Baramulla Police have initiated investigation on receipt of information concerning alleged unlawful activities of a local association identified as Idarah Fallah-u-Darain.

Case with FIR nr 208/2025 has been registered at Police Station Baramulla. ​In the course of investigation, multiple coordinated raids were conducted at various premises and assets linked to the association, it reads.

Several individuals associated with the organization were also questioned, it reads.

The investigation remains active, and further appropriate legal action will be taken based on evidence and findings during inquiry, reads the statement. (JKNS)
