Islamia College Lifts Volleyball Championship Crown in Inter-College Men’s Tournament 2025

Srinagar, Nov 17 (JKNS): Islamia College of Science and Commerce registered an impressive victory over Government Sri Pratap College Srinagar to emerge champions of the 4th Edition Inter-College Volleyball Tournament (Men) 2025.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education, Government College of Education (IASE) M.A. Road, Srinagar.

The competition witnessed spirited and intense matches among various participating colleges.

Islamia College displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and consistency throughout the event, ultimately securing the coveted title in a well-fought final match.

The closing ceremony was graced by the Nodal Principal, Kashmir Division Colleges, Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz, who attended as the chief guest.

In her address, she congratulated the winning team for their outstanding performance and appreciated all participating institutions for promoting sportsmanship and healthy competition.

Faculty members, sports officials, and students were present on the occasion, making the event a vibrant celebration of youth talent and competitive spirit.
Later, Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz presented the trophies to the athletes, marking a memorable conclusion to the tournament.

She also appreciated the Department of Physical Education for the successful conduct of such events and encouraged them to continue promoting sports activities in the future. (JKNS)
