Anantnag, Nov 17 (JKNS): A fire incident was reported this afternoon in Uttersoo after flames engulfed a large stock of firewood stored in an open field.
Reports reaching news agency JKNS, the blaze broke out near the Government Degree College Uttersoo, completely reducing the firewood to ashes.
They said that teams from Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot and managed to contain the flames in time, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby areas.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, officials added.
No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident. (JKNS)
