Srinagar, Nov 16 (JKNS): A team of the National Security Guard’s Bomb Disposal Squad on Sunday arrived at Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar to examine the site of Friday night’s deadly explosion that claimed nine lives and left twenty-seven others injured.

Officials told JKNS that the elite NSG team has begun a detailed technical inspection of the debris, impact zone, and surrounding structures to determine the nature and cause of the blast. The team is also expected to assist local law enforcement agencies in evidence collection and forensic assessment.

Authorities said further details regarding the preliminary findings of the NSG experts will be shared once the assessment is completed. (JKNS)
