Anantnag, Nov 16 (JKNS): In a significant achievement for Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, Professor Dr. Rafi Ahmad Jan from the Department of Chest Medicine has been conferred the prestigious Fellowship of the Indian Chest Society for the year 2025.
Officials said the honour was presented to Prof. Jan during the NAPCON conference held in Jaipur, marking a moment of pride for GMC Anantnag and placing its Chest Medicine Department prominently on the national as well as international stage.
Professor and Dean of GMC Anantnag, Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, extended her heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Jan, appreciating his contribution and acknowledging the distinction he has brought to the institution and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
