Anantnag, Nov 16 (JKNS): National Conference MP for Anantnag–Rajouri, Mian Altaf Ahmad, on Sunday denounced the recent blasts in Delhi, describing them as “acts that cannot be justified in any manner.”
Speaking to reporters during his visit to Verinag, Mian Altaf, as per news agency JKNS said that the government must act firmly but ensure that no innocent citizen is caught in undue scrutiny following the incident.
“We can use hundreds of words, but nothing is ever enough to condemn such brutality,” he said.
The MP said the deadly blast had not only taken precious lives but had also triggered an atmosphere of unease across the country, including in Jammu & Kashmir.
“It is tragic. Lives have been lost, families have been shattered, and the environment that has developed afterwards is worrying for all of us. Such incidents should never occur,” he noted with concern.
He appealed to the authorities to exercise caution during the investigation process.
“My request to the administration is simple—no innocent person should face harassment. Whether a doctor, a labourer, or anyone else, no one can ever justify such violence. What matters now is ensuring that innocent people are not put through suffering in the name of inquiry,” he added. (JKNS)
