“Youth Hold the Power to Transform Society”: MLA Tanvir Sadiq Felicitates Players at Champions Trophy Fina

Srinagar, Nov 15 (JKNS): The final match of the Champions Trophy cricket tournament, organised by the Cricket Fraternity Dalgate, was played today at the TRC Ground, where MLA Tanvir Sadiq graced the event as the chief guest.

During the ceremony, National Tennis Player Mohammad Qais was presented with the Guest of Honour Award by MLA Tanvir Sadiq for his contribution to sports and achievements at the national level.

The Editor-in-Chief of Daily Gadyal was also felicitated for attending the event as a special guest, acknowledging his support toward youth and community engagement.

MLA Tanvir Sadiq appreciated the efforts of the Cricket Fraternity Dalgate for organising the tournament, stating that such platforms play an important role in promoting local talent and strengthening sports culture.

Addressing the gathering, he encouraged young people to stay focused on opportunities that can shape their future.
“Our youth carry immense potential. If given the right platform, they can excel in any field—be it sports, education, or innovation. My efforts will always be directed towards creating more opportunities for them,” he said.

The event concluded amid cheers and appreciation for the organisers and participating teams. (JKNS)
