Srinagar, Nov 15 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the fatal accidental blast at Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar, extending condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
In a post on X, LG, as per news agency JKNS, said he was “deeply anguished by the loss of precious lives due to the extremely tragic accidental blast at Nowgam Police Station.”
He said his heartfelt sympathies are with the bereaved families and prayed for the fast recovery of the injured.
“The government stands in complete solidarity with the families, friends, and loved ones of the departed. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected,” LG Sinha said.
He further announced that a probe has been ordered to ascertain the exact cause of the explosion. —(JKNS)
