Children’s Day Celebration at Govt Boys High School, Kundian Organized by “Indian Army – 06 Rashtriya Rifles, Kundian Coy”

Kundian, Nov 15 (JKNS): Children’s Day was celebrated with immense warmth, joy and patriotism at Govt Boys High School, Kundian, organized by the Indian Army’s 06 Rashtriya Rifles, Kundian Company under the Winning Hearts & Minds initiative.

The event brought together 25 children, 6 teachers and 5 local civilians, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with learning, creativity and inspiration.

The celebration featured drawing competitions, motivational interactions and
confidence-building sessions, aimed at encouraging young students to dream big, stay focused and walk on the path of positivity.

The Indian Army personnel interacted closely with the students, motivating them to pursue education with dedication and to become responsible citizens of the Valley.

The Coy Commanding Officer, kundian who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, praised the enthusiasm of the children and assured continued support for educational and developmental activities in the region.

The Headmaster of Kundian High School, in his heartfelt speech, expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army, acknowledging that “the Army has always supported our children and continues to guide them towards a brighter future.”

Local civilians also appreciated the efforts of the 06 Rashtriya Rifles, Kundian Coy, stating that the Army consistently provides new opportunities and platforms for the youth of remote areas like Kundian.

The event concluded with group interactions, with the smiles on the children’s faces reflecting the strong bond between the locals and the security forces dedicated to peace, harmony and development. (JKNS)
