Bandipora, Nov 13 (JKNS): In the wake of the recent car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which claimed several innocent lives, a candlelight march was held on Thursday evening in Saderkoot Bala area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
As per news agency JKNS, Hundreds of local residents participated in the march to pay homage to the victims and express solidarity with the bereaved families. Participants lit candles and observed a moment of silence, strongly condemning the attack.
Speakers at the event said that such acts of violence have no place in a civilized society and urged the government to bring the perpetrators to justice at the earliest.
The march concluded peacefully with participants pledging unity, peace, and collective resolve against terrorism and violence in all its forms. (JKNS)
