Srinagar, Nov 10 (JKNS): Peoples Democratic Party leader and MLA Pulwama Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra questioned Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s declaration made on the Holy Quran, insisting that Omar must also clarify whether he attempted to ally with the BJP in 2014.
As per news agency JKNS, Parra, while reacting to Omar Abdullah’s recent statement denying any attempt to seek a BJP alliance in 2024, said the Chief Minister should similarly swear regarding developments from a decade earlier.
In a post on X, Parra wrote, “Sir, @OmarAbdullah now swear for 2014, that you never tried to ally with BJP. The truth your own friend Late Devinder Singh Rana had already revealed.”
Parra’s remarks came shortly after Omar Abdullah responded to a challenge from LoP Sunil Sharma, who had asked him to swear on the Holy Quran that he did not approach the BJP for any understanding in 2024. (JKNS)
