Kupwara, Nov 5 (JKNS): Gurpurab, marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was celebrated with devotion at the Guru Teg Bahadur Gurudwara located on the Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal, North Kashmir.
The last Gurudwara on India’s northern tip was beautifully illuminated for the occasion.
Ravinder Pandita, head of the committee managing both the Sharda Temple and the Gurudwara, extended greetings to the community.
The Gurudwara, reconstructed in 2022 after 75 years, had been destroyed during the 1947 tribal raids. Pujari Kamal Devrani performed prayers and lit traditional oil lamps to mark the celebration. (JKNS)
