Budgam, Nov 5 (JKNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Ravinder Raina on Wednesday lambasted his political rivals during a public address in Budgam, saying some leaders fail to show respect even to their own senior representatives.

Addressing a gathering in Budgam, Raina as per news agency JKNS said, “A leader who has been elected three times as MLA from Budgam and today represents the people in Parliament deserves dignity and respect from his own party. If someone cannot honour their own MP, how will they ever respect the people of Budgam?”

He further urged the public to evaluate leaders by their dedication, commitment and performance, not by loud claims or shifting political loyalties. Raina said the BJP’s approach is centred on public service and accountability.

The event, attended by BJP supporters and local workers, also saw Raina discuss his party’s developmental roadmap for Budgam and plans aimed at improving governance in the region. (JKNS)
