Kashmir Marathon 2025 Set to Be Held Tomorrow

Srinagar, Nov 1 (JKNS): The much-awaited Kashmir Marathon 2025 is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, November 2, with 77 runners from 11 countries and participants from 27 States and Union Territories across the country.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Director Tourism Kashmir, Raja Yaqoob Farooq, as per news agency JKNS, said, “Kashmir Marathon 2025 — this is our second edition. Despite challenges after the April 22 incident, we are very excited to host this event.”

“We have runners from 27 States and Union Territories across the country, and 77 foreign participants are taking part in the marathon,” Yaqoob said.

He further added, “These international runners are coming from 11 countries, including the United States, Denmark, Ethiopia, Kenya, Japan, and Sri Lanka.”

Director Tourism said the event reflects Kashmir’s growing potential as a global sports and tourism destination and aims to promote peace, endurance, and adventure in the Valley. (JKNS)
