Indian Army and Civil Administration Organize “Drug-Free Karnah” Rally on National Unity Day

Tangdhar,Oct 31 (JKNS): Commemorating National Unity Day, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the civil administration of Tangdhar, organized a special rally themed “Drug Free Karnah.”

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 216 students, youth, and local residents, all united in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, united community.

Following the rally, students actively participated in a Swachhata Abhiyan, symbolizing unity through collective efforts toward cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

The initiative reflected their shared commitment to building a clean and conscious society while further strengthening the bond between the Army and the local population.

Later in the day, an Indian Army officer delivered a motivational lecture to the participating students, emphasizing the spirit of National Unity Day, the importance of staying united, and the need for a drug-free lifestyle. The interactive session inspired the youth to take pride in the nation’s unity, diversity, and shared values.

The Indian Army and the Tangdhar administration expressed heartfelt appreciation for the active involvement of students and local citizens. The event stood as a powerful reminder that true unity begins with conscious choices towards a clean, drug-free, and harmonious society. (JKNS)
