Traffic Advisory Announced for November 2 Kashmir Marathon

Srinagar, Oct 28 (JKNS):The Srinagar Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic plan and advisory for Sunday, November 2, in view of the Kashmir Marathon 2025, organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department.

According to the advisory availablewith news agency JKNS, movement of vehicles will be restricted on several key city routes including Residency Road, M.A. Road, Boulevard, Gupkar, and Foreshore from 5:00 AM till 1:30 PM to facilitate the marathon and ensure the safety of participants.

The advisory lists several designated parking places for participants, including SP College Ground, SDA Parking, Multilevel Parking Press Colony, Gindun Park Rajbagh, and TRC Grounds.

No traffic movement will be allowed on Residency Road, Rajbagh routes, and Foreshore areas during the event timings. HMVs will be restricted from 8:00 PM on November 1 till completion of the event.

The Traffic Police has appealed to citizens to cooperate, avoid unnecessary travel on restricted routes, and plan journeys in advance to minimize inconvenience.
