Flood Threats in Lal Chowk: MLA Ahsan Pardesi Demands Immediate Preventive Measures and Zoning Policy

Srinagar, Oct 28 (JKNS): Lal Chowk MLA, of National Conference Ahsan Pardesi, on Tuesday drew the Assembly’s attention to growing flood risks in his constituency, stressing the urgent need for preventive measures and scientific planning.

As per news agency JKNS, Pardesi asked for a detailed account of the government’s initiatives to strengthen embankments, upgrade drainage networks, and mitigate flooding in low-lying areas. He emphasized that repeated incidents of inundation demand a proactive approach to safeguard the population.
