Leh, Oct 21 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Shri Kavinder Gupta celebrated Diwali with Army personnel of the Fire & Fury Corps at Rinchen Auditorium, Leh, on Monday, expressing gratitude for their service and sacrifice in defending the nation’s borders under challenging conditions.
As per news agency JKNS, During the celebration, the LG saluted the bravery and dedication of soldiers guarding the frontiers in extreme weather, describing them as “the true strength and pride of the nation.” He also paid homage to the Kargil and Siachen heroes, whose courage continues to inspire every Indian.
Reiterating the Government of India and the Union Territory administration’s commitment to the welfare of armed forces personnel and their families, Gupta said the festival of lights symbolizes hope, unity, and the victory of good over evil values that the soldiers embody through their service and sacrifice.
