He emphasized that Deepawali is not merely a festival of lights but a celebration of human values and harmony, urging people to spread happiness, share with the needy, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood across communities.

“The true essence of Deepawali lies in removing darkness from our lives the darkness of ignorance, hatred, and division and replacing it with the light of knowledge, unity, and compassion. Let this festival inspire us to work collectively for peace, progress, and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir and across Bharat,” he added.

Er. Aijaz Hussain also appealed to the people to celebrate the festival with poor families, ensuring that the spirit of joy reaches every home, especially those less privileged.

“May this Deepawali bring happiness, prosperity, and spiritual strength to every family, and may the light of harmony and togetherness guide us toward a brighter future,” he concluded. (JKNS)
