Srinagar, Oct 17 (JKNS): The Meteorological Department on Friday predicted generally dry to partly cloudy weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir till October 26, with brief spells of light snowfall expected over isolated higher reaches of north Kashmir on October 21 and October 24.
Director Meteorological Department, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, as per news agency JKNS, said that weather will remain generally dry on October 17, 19 and 20.
On October 18, 21 and 24, partly to generally cloudy conditions are likely during the afternoon or evening, with chances of a short spell of light snowfall at higher altitudes in north Kashmir on October 21 and 24, Dr. Mukhtar said.
He added that October 22, 23, 25 and 26 are expected to witness partly to generally cloudy skies with overall dry conditions prevailing.
The department in its advisory has advised farmers to continue all agricultural activities as weather is expected to remain largely favourable. (JKNS)
