The joint statement expressed the three nations’ commitment to the stability achieved by the new agreement. The leaders highlighted the paramount importance of all parties fully complying with their commitments as outlined in the Gaza deal.

They stressed that the provisions of the agreement must be implemented without any delay to ensure the continuity of the ceasefire and to achieve lasting stability.

The statement specifically praised the diplomatic efforts that led to the breakthrough agreement. The European leaders commended the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump and the pivotal work done by the mediating countries: Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey.

Looking ahead, the European leaders announced their countries’ readiness to support further discussions regarding the next phases of the Gaza peace plan.

They called for the UN Security Council to take on an active role in providing full support for the plan and assisting in its crucial implementation on the ground.

The statement concluded by strongly reaffirming the commitment of France, Germany, and Britain to support ongoing humanitarian aid packages to Gaza through UN agencies, with the primary objective of ensuring that aid reaches all those in need as soon as possible.
