BUDGAM: On the eve of World Mental Health Day, the Tehsil Legal Services Authority (TLSA) in collaboration with the Cultural Unit Kashmir, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), organized a day-long awareness programme on mental health and drug abuse at Government High School Buzgoo Nilnag.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Tehsil Legal Services Authority Chadoora Budgam, prominent citizens, social activists, teachers, and students.
Artists from the Cultural Unit Kashmir, DIPR, presented thought-provoking musical and dramatic performances based on the themes of mental health and drug abuse, which deeply captivated the audience.
Prominent social activists, the Principal of GHS Buzgoo, and representatives from the Tehsil Legal Services Authority spoke on the occasion, appreciating the continuous efforts of DIPR in spreading awareness on vital social issues through creative and cultural means.
As a mark of encouragement, awards and certificates were distributed among the participating artists and students.
The programme successfully highlighted the importance of mental well-being and collective responsibility in combating drug abuse, reaffirming the role of cultural engagement in building a healthier society.
