Srinagar, Oct 9: Ehsaas Foundation has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing away of Poet, Writer, Senior Journalist, and Renowned Broadcaster Zahid Mukhtar.
In a condolence statement, the Foundation said that Zahid Mukhtar was a distinguished literary figure and a respected media personality whose contribution to the fields of journalism, poetry, and broadcasting will always be remembered. His works reflected depth, wisdom, and a genuine connection to the cultural and social fabric of Kashmir.
“His demise is a great loss to the literary and journalistic community. We pray that Almighty Allah grants him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives patience and strength to his family, colleagues, and admirers in this moment of grief,” the statement read.
The members of Ehsaas Foundation conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
