Jammu, Oct 8 (JKNS): Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Wednesday accused National Conference (NC) ministers of deliberately neglecting the concerns raised by BJP legislators, compelling them to approach Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for redressal of constituency-related grievances.

Speaking to media persons, Sharma as per news agency JKNS, said BJP legislators regularly reach out to ministers with genuine issues, but their pleas are met with inaction. “Our MLAs approach ministers with constituency grievances, but they neither respond nor act. This leaves BJP representatives with no choice but to approach LG Manoj Sinha, who listens attentively and resolves matters promptly,” he said.

He further said such indifference by NC ministers hampers effective governance. “This exposes the NC’s hypocrisy they preach democracy but ignore the voices of elected representatives working for the people,” Sharma remarked.

The BJP leader reaffirmed that his party would continue raising public welfare concerns within and outside the legislature, emphasizing that the LG’s office remains approachable and responsive in ensuring development and timely grievance resolution. (JKNS)
