Rajouri, Oct 7 (JKNS): An exchange of fire took place on Tuesday between terrioists and security forces in Beeranthub area of Rajouri on Tuesday evening.
Zonal Police Jammu, in a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, that an exchange of fire took place between terrorists and a team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) in the Beeranthub area of PS Kandi, Rajouri.
According to the police, joint parties of Police, Army, and CRPF have rushed to the site and cordoned off the area to contain the situation.
The operation is ongoing, with security forces working to neutralize the terrorists while ensuring the safety of civilians in the vicinity. (JKNS)
