Srinagar, Oct 7 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the reconstitution of the Selection Committee for making appointments to the posts of Chairperson and Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
An order issued by GAD- JK as per news agency JKNS states that, the committee will be chaired by the Hon’ble Minister of Social Welfare Department, with the Administrative Secretary of Social Welfare Department and Secretary of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs as members.
The committee’s mandate includes preparing a select list and submitting recommendations for appointments, adhering to the procedure prescribed under the Jammu and Kashmir Child Rights Commission Rules, 2022. It is also required to maintain a waitlist of two persons for each post, valid for three months. (JKNS
