SRINAGAR: Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) today organized a farewell ceremony in honour of outgoing Principal Secretary PDD, H. Rajesh Prasad, who has been elevated and posted as Chief Secretary of Union Territory of Chandigarh.
MD KPDCL, Mehmood Ahmad Shah; Special Secretary, PDD, Younis Malik; Chief Engineer Distribution/Planning & Procurement/ Transmission/ Generation/ Projects-Kashmir), Director Finance JKPDD and other senior officers of PDD and KPDCL.
Speaking on the occasion, MD KPDCL and senior officers of PDD lauded Rajesh Prasad’s visionary leadership and transformative contributions towards the power sector in Jammu & Kashmir. Under his dynamic stewardship, the department witnessed substantial progress in operational performance and financial discipline, he said.
He added that the initiatives formulated by Rajesh Prasad led to historic gains in billing and collection efficiency, alongside a notable reduction in Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses.
The officers further said that H.Rajesh Prasad’s tenure was marked by significant infrastructure modernization, including the widespread installation of smart meters, strengthening of grid stations, and enhancement of power reliability across the region.
The officers of JKPDD extended their heartfelt wishes for his continued success in his new role as Chief Secretary, Chandigarh UT.
