The order further states that the revised DA rates will also be applicable to civilian employees under Defence Services Estimates. Separate notifications will be issued for Armed Forces personnel and Railway employees by the concerned ministries.

For employees under the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the memorandum has been issued in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, as required under Article 148(5) of the Constitution. (JKNS)
