BUDGAM: Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather today inaugurated one-day Mega Awareness Camp cum Seminar for artisans, weavers and trainees at Nagam Chadoora here.
The Awareness Camp was organised by Handicrafts & Handloom Department.
The camp witnessed active participation of artisans, weavers, and trainees, besides officers and officials from various line departments.
In his inaugural address, Speaker applauded the role of artisans in preserving Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage. He called upon them to adopt innovation and market-driven approaches while pursuing their craft with sincerity and dedication.
