Islamia College organises ‘Unity Run’

SRINAGAR: Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, in collaboration with Police Station Nowhatta, Srinagar successfully organized ‘Unity Run’ to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The event, commenced from the college sports field and proceeded via Hawal, Gojwara Chowk, Srinagar, witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 150 students and Police personnel, all united in promoting the spirit of harmony, unity, and fitness.
Leading the event, Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr) Tehmina Yousuf, was joined by NSS Program Officers, NCC Officers, Convenor Hostel/Convenor Sports and Physical Education Department. Their active participation added further inspiration to the cause.
The run aimed to foster a sense of national integration and physical well-being among the youth and the community, reflecting the shared commitment of educational institution and law enforcement agencies towards peace and unity in the area.
