Special appreciation and gratitude are due to you,” he said, acknowledging the efforts of DIG Balav Sharma, Brigadier SP Rai, and DK Singh, who are leading the motorcycle expedition.

The journey, covering approximately 1,400 km, will reach altitudes of 18,000 feet and subject participants to sub-zero temperatures and challenging conditions. GP Singh lauded the determination of the personnel taking part in the expedition.

“This high-altitude expedition is a symbol of CRPF’s contribution to India’s internal security over the past sixty-six years,” he said, expressing pride in flagging off the event from Kashmir’s historic Lal Chowk.

Addressing the people of Kashmir, he assured continued support from CRPF. “CRPF always stands with you in happiness and sorrow. Whenever you need us, CRPF will be by your side. I thank all citizens present here, and especially the local people of Lal Chowk, for their support,” he said. (JKNS)
