Sonmarg, Sep 22 (JKNS): Several people were injured in a road accident at Sonmarg on Monday morning and shifted to hospital for treatment, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the incident occured when a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BG-9929 rammed into a faulty truck (JK02CC-2395) that was stationary on the roadside.
The mishap took place in the morning leaving several people injured. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Officials said police and traffic personnel reached the spot soon after the accident and managed the situation.
