Srinagar, Sep 18 (JKNS): Delhi Public School Srinagar had the honour of hosting Mr. Parwez Samuel Kaul, Director of Tyndale-Biscoe & Mallinson Society (TBMS), and his wife Ms. Joice Kaul, along with Retd. Justice Muzaffar Jan and his wife, on their visit to the school campus.

The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the Chairman Mr. Vijay Dhar, Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan, Vice Principal Ms. Monisa Khursheed, and Academic Incharges before being escorted further. They visited the Learning Resource Centre and the school library, where they expressed admiration for the resources and the innovative environment created for students. They were impressed by the teaching methods and facilities available in the Learning Resource Centre, citing it as one of the best places for special education in the valley. They also met Shafat, the humanoid robot developed at the school’s ATAL Robotics Lab, and appreciated the creativity and vision behind the project. Shafat was recently inaugurated in the presence of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. They observed the potential in A.I. and the importance of schools promoting and innovating newer technologies.

The visitors later toured the newly constructed Indoor Stadium, where they appreciated the infrastructure and the school’s commitment to holistic development. Their visit reflected appreciation not only for the technological initiatives of the institution but also for its efforts to provide state-of-the-art facilities that enrich the academic growth of students. The visitors appreciated the infrastructural facilities of the school. (JKNS)
