BUDGAM: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, today inaugurated the much-anticipated macadamization works on vital road connecting Chadoora to Brenwar.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, the Speaker emphasized on the Government’s commitment to upgrading rural infrastructure. “This road is a lifeline for the people of this area. Its macadamization will not only end the long-standing difficulties faced by the residents but will also act as a catalyst for the overall development of the area”, the Speaker said.
He added that the improved connectivity will open new avenues for economic growth, enhance access to markets, healthcare facilities and significantly improve the quality of life of local community.
On the occasion, Executive Engineer PMGSY assured the Speaker that the macadamization work will be completed efficiently within a strict timeframe of 20 days.
