Srinagar, Sep 17 (JKNS): A 15-year-old girl student died while four others were injured in a road accident at Jogi Lanker area of Rainawari in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident involved an Eco vehicle bearing registration number DL CAS 1744, driven by Mohammad Ismail Paloo, son of Mohammad Khalil, resident of Kalwal Mohalla Rainawari.
They said the injured children were shifted to JLNM Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared one of the victims, identified as Madiha, daughter of Farooq Ahmad Bhat of Gurpora, aged around 15 years, as brought dead.
The condition of the other injured is stated to be stable, while police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
