Srinagar, Sept 16 (JKNS): Bollywood artist and Congress leader Er Danish Reshi on Tuesday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce a comprehensive agricultural relief package for fruit farmers facing severe economic distress.
Reshi highlighted the deep impact of market setbacks on the farming community, terming it a “heartbreak” that has left growers in pain and despair.
In his public appeal to the Prime Minister, Reshi stressed the urgent need for intervention to “heal the distress and revive the dreams” of farmers.
He said the worsening economic challenges are “stealing their future,” and called for decisive government action to safeguard the livelihoods of those who form the backbone of India’s agriculture sector. (JKNS)
