Restrictions Lifted in Doda, Tehsil Kahara and Chilly Pingal to Remain Under Curbs

All Schools to Resume From Sept 15, Zone Bhatyas Exempted

Doda, Sep 14 (JKNS): The District Administration Doda on Sunday lifted restrictions that had been enforced under Section 163 BNSS, while announcing that curbs will continue in Tehsil Kahara and Tehsil Chilly Pingal until further notice.

According to an order issued by Additional District Magistrate Doda, Anil Kumar Thakur as per news agency JKNS, the restrictions had originally been imposed on September 9 to maintain law and order across the district.

The decision to ease them was taken after the administration reviewed the ground situation and considered reports from field functionaries and law enforcement agencies, which indicated that peace and normalcy had largely returned.

The order specified that the prohibitory measures in Kahara and Chilly Pingal tehsils will stay in place. It also directed that all schools in the district will reopen on September 15, except those in Zone Bhatyas, which will remain closed until further directions are issued. (JKNS)
