The areas visited included Navbal, Kalipora, Batapora, Widow, Mashipora, and several localities in Block Frisal, all of which have been significantly impacted by overflowing streams, waterlogging, and infrastructure damage. During the visit, MLA Devsar Peerzada Feroz met with affected families, local residents, and officials to hear their grievances and monitor ongoing relief measures.

Peerzada Feroz Ahmad assured the affected families that every possible effort is being made by the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, to address their concerns. He recalled that the Chief Minister had personally visited the Kulgam district just a few days earlier and subsequently directed concerned officers to expedite relief and rehabilitation work across all flood-hit areas.

“Our government is committed to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Peerzada Feroz said. “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, necessary instructions have already been issued to concerned departments to ensure that no family is left without help or support during this crisis.”

He further emphasized the need for coordinated efforts between administration and local bodies to restore normalcy and provide timely assistance, including the repair of damaged roads, restoration of water supply, and financial compensation for losses incurred.

Residents welcomed the MLA’s visit and urged swift redressal of their pressing needs. Peerzada Feroz assured them that all grievances have already promptly taken up with the district administration.
